After the owner of this F100 largely abandoned hope of restoring his truck, one of his sons took the initiative to find a specialist to salvage the botched restoration attempt done by a previous employee.

The truck arrived at our shop as a rather large pile of parts. We elected to start over due to the poor paint job, and worked to restore the interior to a factory style. We installed all new wiring, and even elected to convert an original 6v tube AM radio to work with the 12v wiring!

The drivetrain stayed largely period correct, with an 8BA flathead powering the truck, backed by a manual transmission.

In the end, this truck left our shop as a nice driver.
